CHALLENGE

A premier Delaware prevention and treatment provider needed better public awareness and clarity about its many programs. BCCS operates nearly 30 successful initiatives targeting substance abuse, mental illness and behavioral issues. Among their services are: methadone clinics, HIV prevention, needle exchange, anger management classes and a mobile medical van. Yet such a varied menu had led to confusion about the agency and it’s services. This threatened to jeopardize its ability to fulfill, renew and obtain contracts.

SOLUTIONS

GillespieHall launched a strategic awareness campaign. We named and branded four key programs, giving each a logo and clearly aligning them as BCCS services. We designed promotional materials and created program interest through media placement, including online and radio advertising, and newspaper articles. We used social media engagement, storytelling and workshops to educate the public about the importance of BCCS programs and how to enroll.

OUTCOME

Through our award-winning efforts, residents gained a clearer understanding of BCCS services, generating new clients and more demand for services.
